Food is a form of medicine from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Similar to herbs, each type of food has their own special function to help balance the yin and yang of the body. I have highlighted Bok Choy in my latest video. Bok choy is translated from Chinese as white cabbage or white vegetable.
