Expanding Perspectives with Chinese Medicine

Food is a form of medicine from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Similar to herbs, each type of food has their own special function to help balance the yin and yang of the body. I have highlighted Bok Choy in my latest video. Bok choy is translated from Chinese as white cabbage or white vegetable. It is cool in nature, meaning that it supports the yin (water) aspect of the body. For more information about yin and yang please check out my previous blog / video on Yin and Yang. Here is the link to Bok Choy, would happily answer any questions about this special vegetable.

Ever wonder how your acupuncturists arrive at her diagnosis or treatment? Understanding the yin and yang is the foundation for traditional chinese medicine. Check out this brief video on the relationship and transformation of yin and yang and how it relates to nature and health.

Bone Broth is highly healthy, nutritious and rich in micro minerals, collagen and flavor. Many traditions use bone broth as a base for many of their soups as well as part of their daily meals. It hydrating, nourishing and affordable for the whole family. If possible, use organic ingredients and grass fed bones for best taste and quality.
